A picture from 1940 (top) shows the Chacaltaya glacier and ski area in Bolivia, which looked rather different in 2005 (bottom). Records of glaciers melting join thousands of other data sets in a new analysis of the impacts of climate change.

  • In the Top older picture did they capture the image of a South American Condor? It looks like a really big bird in the sky over the peak, that is why I ask. Fallow the line into the sky for the location it's a dark image that looks like a wingspan.
