This 360-degree image, released by NASA on July 5, is a composite of 817 pictures snapped over the many months the Mars rover Opportunity spent perched on a slope called Greeley Haven, near Endeavour Crater. NASA’s next Red Planet rover, Curiosity, is scheduled to land August 5.
