RISK ASSESSMENT

This graph shows the average rate of increase in drug use from age 11 to 14 for genetically low- and high-risk groups that had either supportive or unsupportive parents. Genetically high-risk youngsters with unsupportive parents displayed a much larger rise in drug use than any other group. Credit: G. Brody/Journal of Consulting and Clinical Psychology 2009
