Science News recently reported that the first extrasolar planetary system to be examined in detail does not have the same flattened, disklike arrangement of orbits that the solar system does. Astronomers presenting the findings in Miami May 24 at a meeting of the American Astronomical Society showed some cool images and animations of this out-of-whack system, Upsilon Andromadae.
