A short film that uses humor and science to explain congenital anosmia has won the Society for Neuroscience’s 2013 Brain Awareness Video Contest. In the video, Travis Grenier (above), a film student at Full Sail University in Winter Park, Fla., and a 12-year-old friend explain that Grenier was born without the ability to smell and show how the brain is responsible.
