Katy Daigle

Deputy News Editor

Katy Daigle is the deputy news editor for Science News. Katy has worked for the Associated Press in various international bureaus for nearly two decades. Most recently in New Delhi, she has managed AP’s text news report for South Asia. She is also a former reporter for Newsweek International, Sunday Business, and The Moscow Times. Katy has a degree in journalism from Northwestern’s Medill School and a master's from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She has a particular interest in the environmental sciences, and she speaks Russian and Spanish.
