Invisibility cloaks are finally taking up some space. For the first time, scientists have built devices that can obscure objects in all three dimensions.
NOW YOU SEE IT Without the cloak (left), a bump in gold foil showed up clearly as a bright line in a spectral image taken in wavelengths just beyond the range of human vision.
