Nearsightedness increasing in the United States

Study suggests growth of more than 60 percent since the 1970s

It looks like nearsightedness is on the rise in the United States.

GENERATION MYOPIA Vision tests done in the 1970s on volunteers and repeated on a separate group of people from 1999 to 2004 found more nearsightedness in the recent years.
